Webinar: Opportunities in Times of Crisis - Sustainable Tourism in Jordan

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an extraordinary impact on the global economy, with tourism among the most affected sectors. With the ongoing easing of travel restrictions, the industry is gradually restarting its operations.  

The Jordan Inbound Tour Operators Association (JITOA) hosted a webinar under the theme "Opportunities in Times of Crisis: Sustainable Tourism in Jordan”, on June 17th, 2020. Ms. Costanza Farina, UNESCO Representative to Jordan, participated in the Webinar alongside Dr. Heike Harmgart, Managing Director of Southern and Eastern Mediterranean Region, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The event was moderated by HE Dr. Mary Kawar, former Minister of Planning and International Cooperation.
